Annual Korean Fest, JNU
On 18th February 2018, Vikiran participated in the annual Korean fest held in JNU. The purpose of exhibiting in the JNU fest is to showcase the creativity and potential of the girls of Vikiran. Besides this, Vikiran conducted workshop of JNU students on product making in order to associate with them and to make our voice reach the public.
Kiroromal College Fest
On 26th, 28th and 29th March 2018 Vikiran exhibited in the annual fest of KMC, Delhi University. This time Vikiran added several new products to its product line. Likewise, we stepped one more step to the journey of Vikiran. Through this, we enhanced the capacity and ability of the girls and motivated them to learn and earn.
Visit From Mr. Pankaj Pushkar
On Vikiran invited Mr Pankaj Pushkar, honourable MLA of Timarpur Vidhan sabha. The continuation of motivational speaker has been carried out and this time we invited honourable MLA for one to one talk. The talk gave impetus to students in pursuing their careers.
Visit From Rakesh Rider
Vikiran invited Rakesh rider who is known for advocating gender freedom and equality. He travelled approx. 18000 km on a bicycle in India for sensitizing people about gender equality. He delivered motivational speech on gender freedom consisting women empowerment, equality and rights to the students.
Learning Mela
On 3rd November 2018, Vikiran organized learning mela in association with creativity adda in Shiv Mandir, Waqzirabad. The concept behind the event was to mobilize all the generations of the society so that they can learn with each other where age was no barrier. During the meal, Vikiran girls taught various techniques of product making like earring making, envelope making, dancing, mehendi, photography etc.
Poster Making Competition
Vikiran in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra organized Poster Making competition on gender equality. The purpose of the event was to extract the imagination and innovative ideas of the students. The outcome of the event was very impressive as their ideas were captivating.
Trip to World Book Fair
​On 9th January 2019 vikiran accompanying 40 students for the very first time went to world book fair 2019held in pragati maidan, New Delhi to explore something new. The book fair visit was part of extra curriculum activities. The initiative behind organizing this event was to educate students about different subjects book.
