Skill Development

If a girl has studied till class 10th or 12th and does not have any vocational or technical or creative skills or fluency in English, then their education will not take them to new horizons. The only jobs left for these girls are domestic helpers, sales girls in small stores, cleaners in school etc.

In order to survive in this technical world, they are required to have skills that are demanded by employers. Basic education alone is not enough to survive in this competitive world. The aim is to help them grow and provide them with jobs – relevant skills that the employers demand or which will help them in launching their own business.

Under these programmes we provide creative space and teachings such as tailoring, crafting methods for designing jewellery( earrings, bangles, necklaces, anklets etc.). the programme also provides materials to enhance their skills. Basically, the following are taught under this programme –

The products made by these girls are exhibited in different places such as malls, universities and colleges and the girls are benefited directly from the amount collected by selling the products. This program provides the girl an opportunity to learn and earn simultaneously and live up to their dignity.
